Job Title: Accountant II
Employment Type: Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary:
The Accountant II will play an essential role in supporting the finance department by ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial records. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized, growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compile financial statements with a high level of accuracy.
- Review accounting records, financial statements, and reports to ensure they align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and workpapers with great attention to detail.
- Maintain and update financial records and schedules efficiently and within deadlines.
- Support the month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and create forms, procedures, and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping teams to follow.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: At least three years of accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software, as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tasks independently, demonstrating initiative and follow-through.
