Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Onsite in San Francisco, CA preferred; remote PST considered

Pay Rate: $75/hour

Duration: 6-month contract (08-05-2025 to 02-06-2026)

Schedule: Full-time

Eastridge is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced finance team within an innovative technology-driven organization. The ideal candidate will own and streamline the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across both U.S. and international operations.

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage vendor invoicing, oversee payment processing, and ensure accurate general ledger coding, tax treatment, and internal controls. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AP processes for domestic and international vendors
• Verify vendor data, accounting classification, and ensure proper PO matching and tax treatment
• Monitor AP inbox to ensure timely invoice routing and vendor issue resolution
• Maintain and improve documentation of procedures, internal controls, and AP workflows
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies while adhering to internal policies and deadlines
• Review billing statements and liaise with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate payments
• Support cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc finance projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in AP processing, including international invoice management
• Experience in high-growth tech environments and scaling AP operations
• Proficient in managing sensitive financial data and maintaining confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator with a customer service mindset and cross-functional collaboration experience

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Zip HQ, and AP automation tools such as OCR and RPA
• Experience with tax compliance (sales tax, VAT) and accounting fundamentals
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
