One of the most prestigious and well-known universities is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Healthcare. The company offers a great work environment!

Administrative Assistant - Healthcare Responsibilities:

• Communicate with patients, referring physicians, transplant team members, insurance companies, case managers, governmental agencies, hospital staff, and other groups in a professional, diplomatic manner over the telephone and in person.
• Abstract medical information accurately from the patient file.

Administrative Assistant - Healthcare Qualifications:

• Epic experience required
• Previous experience in a health care setting working with health care professionals and patients.
• Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ability to work independently.
• Working knowledge of resources within an outpatient and an acute care medical center, with commensurate ability to refer individuals to appropriate departments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrated skill in operating a PC and laser printer to quickly and accurately prepare, type, and distribute forms, correspondence, and schedules.
• Demonstrated skill in routine data entry.
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential patient information.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is preferred
• Knowledge of University Medical Center policy and procedures is preferred.

Shift:

• Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
