Assistant Golf Coach
School in Tyler, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Coach.
Position Overview:
Assist the Head Coach in managing all functions of a collegiate team. This position will establish and maintain rules and expectations, as well as enhance the player’s skills by providing training and development.
Duties:
• Assists the Head Coach with practice preparation and game planning.
• Supports the recruitment of student athletes, via email, phone, and in-person.
• Provides academic support and counseling to student athletes.
• Helps with drug education, counseling, and testing, as needed.
• May assist with arranging travel plans.
• Reinforces rules and expectations of the team and the college.
Requirements:
Previous coaching experience preferred.
Demonstrated outstanding leadership communication skills.
Strong commitment to student academic success.
