Job Description

We are searching for a Bank Teller to provide full-time, onsite support for a Las Vegas financial institution. This position is contract-to-hire and pays $19 to $21 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Receive and process retail and commercial deposits.
• Cash checks and savings withdrawals within authorized limits.
• Operate computer terminal to process account activity and resolve issues.
• Balance cash drawer daily and verify vault transactions.
• Cross-sell financial products and services.
• Process loan payments and installment payments.
• Assist with night depository duties and safe deposit access.
• Handle stop payment and hold orders.
• Perform clerical tasks including filing, typing, and answering phones.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in the banking field.
• Experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Knowledge of banking operations and terminology.
• Understanding of state and federal banking regulations.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
