We are seeking friendly, customer-service forward, and knowledgable  Baristas to join our team at Chapel Street, Chicago's first Australian style Cafe & Restaurant. You will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, using our own espresso blend roasted offsite, ensuring high quality and exceptional customer service.

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to standard recipes.
• Provide customers with knowledge of our roasting process, Australian style coffee & educate customers in a friendly manner when appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee area.
• Assist with stocking and inventory management.
• Provide excellent customer service, welcoming all customers warmly.
• Address customer inquiries and special requests.
• Work within parameters set by the Barista Lead
• Develop strong working relationships with the team

• Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty coffee or specialty beverages with an understanding of coffee origins and processing methods.
• Open and flexible availability, including weekends and most holidays.
• Comfortable working shifts independently.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
