Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our dynamic Science Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the IB Biology curriculum to students at both Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) levels. The role demands a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning, inspiring students to achieve their fullest potential in the sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons aligned with IB standards.

- Prepare students for MYP and DP assessments, ensuring understanding of key concepts and practical skills.

- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and encourage critical thinking.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

- Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.

- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department to enhance curriculum delivery.

- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

*Bachelor's Degree in Biology or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).

*Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

*Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB setting.

*Strong understanding of the IB curriculum and assessment methods.

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*Proven ability to inspire and motivate students.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 11,000 up to 15,000  AED (UAE Dirham)per month based on experience and qualification,
