Job Description

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Construction Manager for our client partner. Provide construction management and oversight for the replacement of end-of-life reciprocating gas compressors with two new rotary screw compressors. The role involves coordinating all demolition and construction activities between the facility and vendor, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. For at least 6 weeks of the project, work may be 6-7 days/week and 12+ hours/day. It is preferred to have a technical background and have led construction oversight previously.

  • Project Duration: February 2026 – June 2026


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee demolition of existing compressors, HVAC systems, structural steel, and associated piping.
  • Manage installation of new compressors, lube oil systems, gas silencers, and air handling units.
  • Supervise modifications to facility foundations, piping, power, controls, and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure proper execution of structural steel framing, concrete foundation work, and electrical systems installation.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and startup support for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Maintain compliance with OEM recommendations and project construction specifications, including but not limited to NDE testing per ASME B31.1.
  • Pay: $75 - $150/hr. W2
