Job Title: Drafter/DesignerJob Description We are seeking a talented Drafter/Designer with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting and building Bills of Materials (BOM), with a proven track record in creating technical drawings and designs. Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with BOM management tools are essential, as is experience in change control procedures and documentation management. Responsibilities + Create and maintain technical drawings and designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. + Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) with ERP/MRP systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. + Implement and oversee change control procedures and documentation management. + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of experience as a drafter-BOM builder, or a Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology with 10 years of experience. + Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and SolidWorks. + Extensive experience in BOM management tools and ERP/MRP systems. + Ability to manage change control procedures and documentation effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A strong portfolio of technical drawings and designs. + Experience in a similar role as a Drafter or Designer. Work Environment The role requires proficiency in using CAD software and BOM management tools. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on technical accuracy and innovation. Standard office attire is expected. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
