At Farm Collective, we are a group of passionate wine lovers on a mission to push the envelope and deliver world-class wines to our beloved customers. Our network of family wineries includes James Cole Winery and Tank Garage Winery.

We are looking to add a full-time Tasting Room Associate to our team, who will split their time between our two distinct Napa Valley tasting rooms. If you enjoy connecting with guests about your love of wine, are flexible and adaptable, and enjoy variety in your daily work routine, this could be a great opportunity for you.

At Tank Garage Winery, our motto is to "Never Dream Alone.” When working at this location, you will host tastings of wines unlike any other in Napa Valley in a cool, laid-back environment at our vintage Calistoga gas station.

At James Cole Winery, our motto is “Luxury Without Pretense.” When working at this location, you will create memorable experiences for guests that are intimate and high-end, yet still casual and fun.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•  Host groups and provide memorable and positive tasting experiences at either of our tasting rooms.
•  Educate guests on each winery’s unique history and share stories.
•  Encourage guests to join our wine club(s).
•  Pick up the telephone to sell wine, book reservations, and provide amazing customer service to our club members and prospective customers.
•  Assist with our special events where we listen to great music, enjoy delicious food and show our guests a fantastic time.
•  Help keep our tasting rooms looking great and running smoothly by helping out with administrative, cleaning, inventory-related tasks.
•  Embrace our company ethos and contribute back to it.
•  Be a positive, compassionate, helpful teammate.
•  Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all current health and safety requirements.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
•  Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, with 1-2+ years of wine industry experience preferred.
•  Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
•  You must love people and have a passion for wine.
•  Must be driven, able to take initiative, and have the aptitude to solve problems.
•  Strong computer skills; previous POS experience is preferred.
•  Demonstrate consistent professionalism and responsibility while having fun.
•  Must be a reliable team player and able to work cooperatively with coworkers.
•  Understand and participate in creating an environment of inclusion and acceptance.
•  Familiarity with Commerce7 POS system is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•  A variety of schedules available with most hours being between 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, weekend availability a must!
•  Work will be on-site at both Tank Garage Winery in Calistoga and at James Cole Winery in Napa.
•  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (case of wine) regularly and to remain standing on feet for long periods of time.
•  Must be 21 years of age or older.

•  We offer a competitive starting rate ($22-$25 per hour) with additional opportunities for wine club commissions, quarterly bonuses, and lucrative credit card tips.

•  The listed hourly pay range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation paid will be determined by assessing a candidate’s education, experience, and skills in relation to other candidates, internal peers, and market data.
