The Role
As an early engineer at Angle, you will play a critical role in developing and launching key projects that directly impact our members and internal teams. Each quarter, you'll drive full product lifecycles—from ideation to system design and execution—while contributing ideas across multiple R&D teams. You'll work closely with customers and non-technical counterparts to deeply understand user needs and craft effective solutions. This position is based in our NYC office.
Core Responsibilities
Build high-performing customer facing and internal products
Design and build delightful and innovative products that will be used by a wide variety of users
Write quality, performant, well-tested code in Python (Django), React, and Typescript
Drive technical projects from conception to launch, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Additionally, you
Will work directly with the Head of R&D to set the standard of high quality products
Are an independent working and self-starter
Seek to understand the business strategy and needs of our users
Are product minded – Willing to participate in product and engineering discussions
What We Value
4+ years of fullstack engineering experience
Strong experience with React JS and TypeScript
Experience with Figma or similar design tools
Experience writing automated tests (unit tests, integration tests)
Strong Python experience
Experience in deploying and maintaining enterprise-scale applications in production
Familiar with building user-facing UIs
Excellent communication skills across teams
Strong foundation in designing and building web applications
The salary range for this job opportunity is $100,000 to $200,000 per year, which is the amount Angle Health anticipates paying for this position at the time of this job posting. The actual base salary offered may differ and will depend on various factors such as geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as internal equity.
