General Labor – Temporary/On-Call

Location: Rio Grande Valley, TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our on-call crew. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, short-term work assignments. Projects vary by location and schedule, often with work orders coming in the day before or day of.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including site cleanup, material handling, and basic demolition work.
• Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, concrete finishers) as needed.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Adhere to all company and site-specific safety policies.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to accept last-minute or day-of job assignments.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently or with a team.
• Steel-toe boots and basic PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, gloves).

Schedule:

• Work assignments are on-call and temporary based on needs
• Shifts may vary by day and project location.
