Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of the premises to ensure everything is orderly.
  • Check in vendors and deliveries, ensuring they have the appropriate escort throughout the back areas of the hotel.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and collaborate with the General Manager to identify areas of vulnerability.
  • Investigate accidents, thefts, and safety concerns related to guests, coordinating with Human Resources for incidents involving team members.
  • Maintain and monitor lost and found processes and procedures.
  • Conduct key maintenance, perform departmental key control audits, and maintain key control records.
  • Uphold emergency safety procedures.
  • Prepare reports on all activities within the hotel.
  • Report incidents to the appropriate channels.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: A High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • A consistent ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor is essential.
    • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with hotel departments, guests, and vendors.
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
    • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills are mandatory.
    • Outstanding organizational skills, including follow-up, time management, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment, are vital.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
    • Proficiency in the English language is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is considered an asset.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • The ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise move goods weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary.
    • The individual must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during a full shift, both indoors in a climate-controlled environment and outdoors during rounds.
    • Capable of performing property rounds in non-extreme weather conditions.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Candidates must complete a background check.
