HVAC Technician – Immediate Hire (Temp-to-Perm)

🕖 Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

🛠 Responsibilities
· Install, service, and repair environmental control systems in office buildings and commercial/industrial settings
· Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubricating, inspecting HVAC components
· Troubleshoot and repair digital control software (strong computer skills required)
· Join tubing/pipes to refrigerating units using Pro-press, unions, solder, and brazing
· Monitor gauges for pressure/vacuum and adjust controls as needed
· Detect leaks using gauges or soap and water solution
· Repair minor insulation issues and troubleshoot electrical components (fuses, contactors, controls, etc.)
· Service air conditioners up to 200 tons cooling capacity
· Troubleshoot VAV controls and perform general maintenance (electrical, plumbing) as assigned
✅ Basic Qualifications
· Valid driver’s license (driving required for this role)
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
· HVAC vocational training completed
· Universal EPA Certification
· Experience with industrial/commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration, and controls
· Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and plumbing blueprints
· Skilled with sheave/belt gauges, belt tensiometers, and AHU motors (up to 100hp)
· Ability to troubleshoot systems up to 480 volts
