Responsibilities:

• As an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Level II in Honolulu, HI, I am looking for candidates who have a background as a System or Network Administrator with experience in IT Security. The selected candidate will maintain the operational security posture for an information system, working closely with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Information Security Officer (ISO).
• The responsibilities will include:
• Assisting the ISSM in their duties.
• Preparing, reviewing, and updating authorization packages.
• Ensuring procedures are in place for the clearance, sanitization, and destruction of various hardware and media.
• Notifying the ISSM of any changes that may impact the authorization determination of the information system(s).
• Conducting regular reviews of the information systems to ensure compliance with security authorization.
• Coordinating any modifications to hardware, software, or firmware with the ISSM.
• Monitoring recovery processes to ensure security features are restored and functioning correctly.
• Keeping all security-related documentation current and available for authorized individuals.
• Collecting, reviewing, and documenting audit records.
• Attending required technical and security training related to assigned duties.
• Performing self-inspection of cyber security aspects and conducting security impact analysis for configuration management changes.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience, possess a TS/SCI clearance, and have familiarity with Special Access Programs (SAPs) in support of Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, along with IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification (within 6 months of hire).

The position involves no travel and is strictly onsite in Honolulu, HI. Regular physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Our compensation ranges from $105,622 to $126,385, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual needs.
