This position may be filled at one of the three levels based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. The entry salary is posted above, with the intermediate starting salary of $41,685.12, and the senior starting salary of $48,621.60.

The information systems technician provides entry-level technical or paraprofessional system support, monitors computer systems, assists end users, and assists with programming tasks. Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision.

What you’ll do:

• As an Application Developer, you will work with a team of established developers to create and maintain the information systems vital to the Department of Transportation.
• You will design, develop, implement, and maintain both new and existing applications using primarily .Net, C#, Bootstrap, Jquery and JavaScript.
• You will collaborate with customers, the development team, and vendors to troubleshoot existing systems.
• You will design and develop relational databases and write and maintain documentation for new and existing features.
• You will research emerging technologies, implement best practices, and explore industry trends.
