Job Description

If so, the IT Support Specialist position with Legend Senior Living is for you. This role is responsible for fielding help desk calls and emails and assisting associates with their technical support issues. This individual will resolve all possible end-user problems over the phone or via email and track the issues in our ticketing system. Should the need for additional assistance be needed, you will be able to research options or pass along the request to other support staff internally or from outside the organization to provide the best solution to the problem. This role also plays an important part in vendor relations for warranty service issues.

Some of the responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide amazing customer service by providing one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone and through emails.
  • Deliver, sets up, and assist in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve end-user networker local printer problems, PC hardware or software problems and e-mail, internet, and local-area network access problems.
  • Coordinate timely repair of PC computer equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
  • Perform minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
  • Help install local area network cabling systems and equipment such as network interface cards, and switches.
  • Assist Director of IT in creating materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQs).

Requirements

This role requires that you have experience with IT support in a professional environment. Preferred candidates will be proficient in remote troubleshooting within Windows environments and have experience supporting and optimizing both on-prem and web-based applications such as Active Directory, RMM, MDM, SQL-based platforms, and SharePoint. Familiarity with network-aware IT support, including Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti systems, is also desired.
