Our client, a large publishing company for magazines and editorials, is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join their team. This candidate will work closely with the Promotions Art Director and other team members to support a wide range of creative initiatives across digital and print platforms. This role is ideal for a designer with a strong graphic foundation who is eager to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment.This is an onsite role (4 days/week) in Manhattan, NYC, starting as freelance and eventually converting to full-time placement.Responsibilities:- Design and produce emails, web graphics, digital ads, and videos- Create print ads for magazines and print collateral for events- Assist with basic photo processing, including preparing images for digital and print use- Support promotional campaigns by executing designs that align with brand standards- Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and creative objectivesMust haves:- 2- 3 years of experience in digital and print design- Strong graphic sensibility with demonstrated attention to typography, color, and layout- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting prioritiesNice to haves:- Marketing & Advertising experience is a plus- Bachelors degree in Design or a related field preferred- Some experience with video design or editing is a plusIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
