As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Junior Project Manager/Estimator to help expand our project capabilities.

Job Summary:

The Jr Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and helping manage utility construction projects from bid to completion. This individual will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining excellent communication with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

Estimating:

• Work directly with Sr Project Manager
• Review plans and specs to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors

Project Management:

• Assist with overseeing daily operations of awarded projects
• Schedule equipment and materials
• Communicate with clients, inspectors, and internal teams
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and safety compliance
• Assist with change orders, documentation, and reporting

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in utility construction, estimating, or project management
• Knowledge and capabilities in bidding civil construction and utility projects
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred:

• OSHA 30 or relevant safety certifications
• Experience with HCSS, Heavy Bid, or similar estimating tools
