Job Description
About the Company We are a refrigerated carrier that primarily hauls prepackaged dairy products. We operate in 2 shifts per day, 1st shift drivers mainly deliver to our retail and institutional customers. 2nd shift drivers mainly run shuttles and line hauls to various points in WI and MN. There are two locations, one is Sparta WI and the headquarters in Eau Claire WI. Trucks are all late-model Freightliner day-cabs leased from Penske. 53' trailers for the line hauls and shuttles are also leased from Penske. We do utilize trailers from a trailer pool at one of our customers, and delivery trailers are 28' pups with hydraulic lift gates. We strive for each driver to work 4 - 10 hour shifts per week, Saturday routes that are run in rotation. Driver turnover rate is less than 10%.
About the Job This first-shift position is for delivering milk and other packaged dairy products to schools, stores and other facilities in West-Central Wisconsin. The truck is loaded and ready to go in the morning, the driver makes 15 - 20 stops per day. Many stops are on pallets, others are unloaded with a 2-wheel cart and a lift-gate. We strive for 4 - 10 hour days during the week. We pay hourly, and overtime applies after 40 hours per week. Generous benefits and annual safety bonus is available. Late model trucks and trailers are leased from Penske.

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
Stacking and sorting delivered cargo.
Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment.
Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.

Hiring Requirements
~ Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, (K) Intrastate Only or (V) Medical Variance
