Pay Range: $14.48 - $18.10

YOUR ROLE 

A shipping coordinator is responsible for facilitating the delivery of goods from one location to another. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The shipping coordinator ensures that packages are picked up, processed, and delivered on time while navigating the logistics of shipping. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

• Coordinate and oversee all shipping activities. 

• Communicate with vendors, carriers, and customers to ensure that all parties stay informed throughout the shipping process 

• Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process 

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery confirmations, and customer receipt acknowledgments 

• Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and requirements. 

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and vendors. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED;  

• Credentials: Forklift Certification typically required in most operations within 3 to 6 months of hire; Valid state issued driver’s license preferred. 

• Skills: Capable of operating hand and power tools and performing manual tasks, ability to frequently lift and/ or move up to fifty (50) pounds; Basic proficiency in operating a computer; Ability to become forklift certified, when required.   

• Characteristics: Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; Ability to perform in a team environment. Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents
