Responsibilities:
- Performing phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as directed.
- Assisting with patient care procedures.
- Maintaining patient records and performing administrative tasks.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Medical Assistant certificate.
- Minimum two years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Blood draw experience.
- COVID-19 vaccination (including booster).
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a Hematology/Oncology setting.
Special Considerations:
- 12-week assignment.
- Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
- No weekends or holidays.
- Cannot have worked for any Beth Israel facility (permanent, travel, or PRN) in the past 6 months.
