ResponsibilitiesThe Mental Health Technician with assist with care and observe mentally ill patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This includes grooming needs and observation of any abnormal behavioral or physical signs. QualificationsJob Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent.2+ years of relevant work and/or personal experience with the seriously mentally ill or individuals with emotional behavior disorders.BLS certification.Preferred Job Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.Previous mental health work experience in an acute care facility.1 year of direct patient care experience. Pay Range Minimum: $16.64 Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
