Job Description

This is a full-time legal assistant position in a fast-paced, high-volume agency/law firm. Our office requires specialized skillsets and offers you the detailed on-the-job training you need. Daily tasks will include data entry, preparing and distributing documents and correspondence, as well as handling inbound customer relation phone calls regarding cases. • Improve skill sets through employee development programs
• Connect with our customer base and raise brand visibility by coordinating community events
• Coordinate any company parties, necessary appointments, or travel
• Help build online marketing, brochures, email campaigns, etc. that highlight our services
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute paperwork, reports, and other documents.
• Learn and implement legal policies and procedures to navigate cases through the legal environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Job requires a specialized skillset; therefore, we will provide on-the-job training.
• Act as a point of contact for complaints or questions from customers.

Qualifications:

• Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work
• High school diploma or GED required, some college experience preferred
• Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues
• Prior experience in office management or our industry is a plus
• Display excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills
• Two years of office experience or an associate's degree
• Detail-oriented and efficient in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite as well as being open to being trained on our in-house systems.
• A desire to use critical thinking skills in demanding situations with confidence in ability and training.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, multi-task, and make good decisions in accordance with laws and legal ethics.
• Willingness to work well with others and communicate effectively with clients, peer staff, supervisors, and attorneys.
