What is a BA Candidate? A
BA Candidate is someone who:
Has a master’s degree in a BACB-approved field
Completed all required ABA coursework
Finished
at least 50% of supervised experience hours Is planning to sit for the
BCBA exam within one year of starting
Has completed New Mexico's
background check registry Can provide Stage 2 (Assessment) and Stage 3 (Intervention) ABA services under supervision
What You’ll Do: - Support clients by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Work directly with clients and model strategies for technicians and caregivers
- Collect and analyze data to guide progress
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals
- Attend team meetings and receive structured supervision
- Maintain documentation that’s ethical, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant
