**Shop Help/Paint Assistant** **Job Description** The role involves supporting a variety of tasks in the painting department. Key responsibilities include preparing parts for painting, caulking, plugging, washing, taping, masking, and occasional operation of a forklift and crane. **Responsibilities** + Prepare parts for painting by caulking, plugging, and washing. + Tape and mask parts to ensure precision in the painting process. + Operate spray guns for industrial painting tasks. + Work with forklifts and cranes as needed for material handling. + Assist in assembly and paint booth operations. + Conduct sandblasting and industrial paint applications. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and industrial painting. + Proficiency with spray guns and industrial paint techniques. + Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of assembly and blasting techniques. **Work Environment** The position is based in a manufacturing setting, utilizing a range of equipment including paint booths and forklifts. The role may involve working with heavy machinery and requires adherence to safety protocols **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Saint Cloud, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
