Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Parking Garage Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume parking facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have direct experience managing parking garages or surface lots, with strong financial management, vendor coordination, and staff supervision skills. This role is responsible for maintaining facility standards, overseeing revenue collection and reporting, managing maintenance operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of parking facilities, including staffing, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee revenue control systems, perform audits, and ensure accurate collection, deposit, and reconciliation of parking revenues.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost efficiency across assigned facilities.
  • Supervise and train team members to provide excellent customer service and uphold operational standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, equipment repairs, signage, and service agreements.
  • Monitor contract parker programs, ensuring proper registration, invoicing, and collections for all accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports.
  • Implement and maintain safety procedures, loss prevention strategies, and emergency protocols.
  • Collaborate with property management, tenants, and clients to address operational needs and resolve customer concerns.
  • Support business development initiatives through local market awareness and operational improvement strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing parking garage or parking facility operations.
  • Strong understanding of operations management, budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting .
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite , including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience in vendor management, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision .

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple parking facilities or Class A commercial properties.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention practices, contract management, and facility safety standards .
  • Familiarity with parking technology systems , validation programs, and automated payment solutions.
  • Strong customer service background with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development, integrity, and operational excellence.
