Requirements of the Pediatrician:
◆Must have an active State License
◆Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible

Responsibilities of the Pediatrician:
◆Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
◆Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
◆Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories.
◆Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
◆Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
◆Monitor patients' conditions and progress.
◆Direct, coordinate, consult with, and refer patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
◆Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
◆Conduct research and remain up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field
