Probate Trust & Estate Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Attorney with experience in probate, trust, and estate litigation to join our team in Brentwood Los Angeles California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in California probate law, trust administration, and estate disputes, with a proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of probate, trust, and estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and related issues.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant California laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective case management.
• Participate in firm meetings, continuing legal education (CLE) programs, and other professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in probate, trust, and estate litigation in California.
• Strong knowledge of California probate law, trust administration, and estate planning.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary $170,000 - $215,000
• Plus, a yearly bonus based on firm/employee performance.
