The Public Relations Specialist will play an essential role in shaping and communicating our brand narrative to diverse audiences, enhancing our visibility, and establishing Vuzix as a thought leader in the AR industry. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic public relations campaigns to enhance Vuzix's brand visibility.
• Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts across various outlets.
• Manage crisis communication strategies and respond to media inquiries in a timely manner.
• Conduct media training for company spokespeople and prepare them for interviews.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive outreach.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in technology or related industries.
• Proven ability to create engaging content for various media outlets and platforms.
• Strong understanding of media relations and PR strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with AR technologies and market trends is a plus.
