Job Title: Python Full Stack Developer with Financial Services Industry exp
Location: New York City Area (Strongly Preferred) / Pittsburgh, PA / Lake Mary, Florida

We are looking for candidates with experience in developing, supporting and maintaining applications to run risk models e.g. CCAR and CECL financial analytics models covering forecasting (Balance Sheet, Macroeconomic Factors, Expense and Fee Revenue, etc.) and calculation (Market & Credit Risks, Risk Weighted Assets, Stress Capital Buffer Ratio, etc.) and using analytics platform (compute cluster, GPU cluster, Spark/Hadoop, JupyterHub, Machine Learning(ML) toolkits, REST API, Micro-Services).
Design and development of backend features and components. Collaborating with other engineers in design and development. Help triage bugs, track software defects, and ensure their timely resolution. Follows technical standards and quality. Interface with product and other functional teams and their leadership. Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code. Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites. Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions. Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system. Apply security and privacy principles. Execute full lifecycle software development. Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems. Ensure software is updated with latest features. Participate in deployment process following all change controls. Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
Qualifications
· Bachelor/Master Degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline.
· 5-6 years of experience in software development or a related field.
· Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills with knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
· Proficiency in Python, Java and, UI development using React (Preferred)/Angular or equivalent and database & SQL.
· Experience with software development using Agile practices such as developing CI/CD workflows and tools like GitLab, unit testing and deployment will be preferred.
