Job Summary:

The Quality Manager (QM) is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the MFSS MCLB Albany contract. The QM ensures site-wide quality compliance, oversees ISO 9001 program implementation, and drives continuous improvement through metrics and training. This role requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, and hands-on coordination to maintain high standards of contract performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Administer QMS : Prepare, implement, and manage the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with organizational and contractual requirements.
• Site Quality Oversight : Oversee all aspects of quality implementation across the site, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
• ISO 9001 Program Management : Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of ISO 9001 programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Training Coordination : Design and deliver training programs related to the site QMS to enhance staff competency and compliance.
• Performance Metrics : Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Compliance and Audits : Ensure the QMS meets regulatory and contractual requirements, coordinating internal and external audits as needed.
• On-Site Availability : Be present on-site during the Government's regular working hours and available within two hours after regular hours, or designate a qualified alternate to fulfill this requirement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience : At least three years of supervisory experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity to the MFSS MCLB Albany contract.
• Skills :
• Proven expertise in QMS development and ISO 9001 implementation.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage teams and drive quality initiatives.
• Excellent communication and training abilities to educate staff on quality standards.
• Analytical skills to develop and interpret performance metrics.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to on-site needs.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily on-site at the MFSS MCLB Albany facility.
• Must be available during regular Government working hours and able to respond within two hours after hours when required.
• Collaborative environment requiring interaction with cross-functional teams and government representatives.

Contractor Work Hours:

The Government's regular working hours are from 0700-1600, five days per week, Monday through Friday, except observed Federal holidays. Some additional work required beyond

Regular working hours as required to meet contract obligations.
