This Role 

As our Content Writer, you’ll report to the UK PR, Communications, and ContentLead and work closely with the PR, Content, SEO and Insights teams.

This role is pivotal in shaping Employment Hero’s editorial voice, enhancing our thought leadership, and driving measurable business outcomes through compelling content. You’ll lead the creation of high-impact, data-driven content across multiple channels, amplifying our market presence and brand authority.

Key Focus Areas

• Develop and own an editorial function in the UK that delivers opinion-led, data informed content, working closely with the global team
  
  
• Increase market share of voice through executive level communications and strategic content
  
  
• Support SEO and keyword strategies to drive measurable performance
  
  
• Elevate brand authority with timely, insight led commentary, and innovative storytelling formats
  
  

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, data driven opinion articles in a journalistic tone
  
  
• Create executive thought leadership content and messaging
  
  
• Craft timely responses to news and industry developments
  
  
• Develop engaging blogs, social copy, and multimedia campaigns (e.g., podcasts, videos)
  
  
• Ensure editorial consistency and elevate brand messaging across all platforms
  
  
• Support PR initiatives with compelling storylines and content pieces
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring product updates and campaigns to life
  
  
• Analyze content performance and iterate using analytics tracking and reporting on metrics through the funnel
  
  
• Support across compelling SEO driven articles in partnership with our growth marketing team

Requirements

Who You Are

• 4+ years experience in journalism, editorial, or content roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or employment related sectors
  
  
• A journalistic mindset with an understanding on what makes a strong headline, curious, deadline oriented, work at pace, and skilled at simplifying complex topics
  
  
• Exceptional writing and editing skills tailored for varied audiences and formats
  
  
• Proficient in social media platforms, and content performance metrics and understanding of SEO a bonus
  
  
• A self starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote first environment
  
  
• Strong communicator with excellent project and relationship management skills
  
  
• Familiarity with collaborative tools like Slack, Google Meet, and CMS platforms
