Job Description

A well-established healthcare and research organization is seeking a detail-oriented Part-time Research Aide to support clinical research and scholarly projects in the OBGYN department.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Provide administrative and operational support to research faculty and staff.
• Assist with gathering scientific literature and preparing study documents.
• Translate study documents between English and Spanish when needed.
• Develop research tools such as data collection forms, manuals of procedures, and study databases.
• Assist with writing and editing documents for research submissions, reports, and regulatory applications.
• Recruit and enroll patients/participants into research and quality-improvement studies in both English and Spanish.
• Maintain accurate research records and databases as instructed by study investigators.
• Ensure all study activities follow ethical, regulatory, and institutional guidelines.
• Support preparation of Institutional Review Board submissions and required compliance documents.
• Assist with data entry, organization, and interpretation of study-related information.
• Complete required trainings and certifications related to research work.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of research activity.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interact professionally with staff, patients, participants, and the public.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States.

• Experience with research studies, data collection, or academic projects.
• Experience with project coordination, forms development, or database entry.
