Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced Safety Coordinator to support a large commercial repainting project located in Rosemead, CA (Los Angeles area). This project involves repainting a large building in a highly populated area, requiring a proactive safety professional to help oversee scaffolding operations and ensure full compliance with all safety regulations throughout the 7-month duration.
Our Expectations
Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert guidance, coaching, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, our professionals are expected to be hands-on partners in delivering safety initiatives and programs designed to cultivate a strong, positive safety culture on site.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily safety operations for repainting activities in a high-traffic urban setting. Conduct safety inspections, observations, and documentation specific to scaffolding setup and work-at-height procedures. Support incident prevention through field engagement, job hazard analysis, and effective communication with site crews and management. Ensure compliance with OSHA and local jurisdictional safety standards. Provide daily support and reporting to the project leadership team.
Qualifications
OSHA 510, OSHA 30, or CHST certification required. Minimum 3 years of construction or painting safety experience. Strong knowledge of scaffolding, fall protection, and urban site safety protocols. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to promote a positive safety culture.
