Salary: $170,000 - 210,000 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.
• At least 7 years of experience working directly within engineering teams.
• More than 3 years of experience in designing or architecting systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability of both new and existing systems.
• Over 8 years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Proficient knowledge of engineering practices and patterns across the complete software/hardware/network development lifecycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
• Experience collaborating with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities:

• As a Software Development Manager for Amazon Elastic File System (EFS), I will lead a team responsible for designing, building, and operating a cloud-native distributed storage system at petabyte scale. I will ensure the delivery of reliable and high-performance services and features that meet AWS's extensive demands. I will engage with customers to gain insights into our business objectives, and I will drive rapid innovation to deliver exceptional and pioneering functionality. I will seek out a creative, responsible, and curious individual who can motivate and guide the team in transforming code into solutions that serve our customers effectively. You will foster an environment where exploring business opportunities and addressing operational challenges become part of daily conversations, while also focusing on understanding our customers' applications.
