Job Description

RGP is seeking Sales & Use Tax Consultant to provide fractional, onsite support in the company's growing tax department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in indirect tax and be comfortable managing compliance for 1099 filings, sales & use tax, and beverage filings. + Support end-of-year 1099 filings and related compliance activities + Manage and review sales & use tax filings across multiple jurisdictions + Assist with beverage tax filings + Collaborate with the internal tax team to ensure accurate and timely reporting + Utilize systems such as OneSource, Alvara, and Power Query to streamline processes (experience with these tools is a plus, not required) + Provide guidance and best practices on indirect tax compliance + Support the team on ad hoc tax projects as needed + 10+ years of experience in sales & use ta + CPA a plus + Strong background in indirect tax; preference over generalist tax experience + Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage industries is a plus + Familiarity with tax compliance systems (OneSource, Alvara) and Power Query/Excel preferred + Ability to work onsite in Irvine, CA on a fractional basis + Strong organizational and communication skills + Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.    + Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.   + Pay Range: $ 65-70hr. + Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase plan, Professional development program, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required) + An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart.    At RGP, we're creating a future where businesses produce their best work without constraints.
