Job Title: Training Coordinator II
Location: Carlsbad, NM
Schedule: 5/2 (Monday–Friday) | Some travel

Position Overview
The Training Coordinator II serves as the face of the training team for D&C/operations staff in Carlsbad. This role coordinates training logistics, maintains schedules/materials, tracks attendance/completions, and produces light reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly professional with stakeholders, and proficient in Microsoft Office. Program-specific content training will be provided. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and host training sessions (in person & virtual)
• Act as primary point of contact for trainees, leaders, and vendors
• Maintain training calendars, rosters, and completion records
• Prepare materials, agendas, sign-ins, and post-session follow-ups
• Create light reports/ dashboards (attendance, completions, feedback, gaps)
• Support onboarding classes and recurring refresher trainings
• Track action items and ensure timely close-out with owners
• Maintain version control for training documents and SOPs
• Escalate risks, conflicts, or resource constraints to leadership
• Travel as needed to nearby sites/offices for delivery and support

Skills and Qualifications
Required

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Good communication skills (written, verbal, and facilitation)
• 3–5 years’ experience in training coordination, L&D, admin/project coordination, or similar role
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Experience supporting field/operations or oil & gas training programs
• Comfort with virtual meeting tools (Teams/Zoom) and LMS or SharePoint
• Basic reporting skills (pivot tables, summaries, formatting)
