We’re looking for a Brand Communications & Public Relations Specialist who can bring our story to life and help shape the way the world sees Haven.
As the voice behind the brand, you’ll create and share content that reflects our heart—from compelling patient stories and employee spotlights to strategic press outreach and campaign messaging. You’ll elevate Haven’s presence across media channels, foster community relationships, and help amplify the real-life impact of compassionate care.
🎙️ Content Creation & Storytelling
Host and develop a branded podcast exploring healthcare challenges, community voices, and real-world impact
Craft powerful blog posts, newsletters, testimonials, and social media content
Collaborate on photo and video projects that visually bring stories to life
Interview team members, patients, and families to highlight authentic experiences
📰 Media & Public Relations
Build and nurture relationships with local media, publications, and community influencers
Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories, and manage earned media tracking
Lead PR efforts for brand campaigns, community events, and company milestones
Oversee traditional advertising (billboards, radio, print) with consistent brand messaging
🧠 Brand Strategy & Engagement
Uphold Haven’s brand voice and identity across all touchpoints
Contribute to campaign strategy alongside leadership and creative teams
Monitor public sentiment, media performance, and engagement insights to refine messaging
You’re a thoughtful communicator, natural storyteller, and strategic thinker who sees communication as a tool for connection—not just promotion. Whether you're pitching to media or recording a podcast, you lead with authenticity, heart, and purpose.
2+ years of experience in communications, PR, journalism, or content marketing
Proven ability to build media relationships and land earned coverage
Strong writing chops across platforms—press releases, blogs, ad copy, scripts
Experience hosting or producing a podcast (or the passion to learn)
Familiarity with brand building, social media trends, and multimedia content
Comfort working with photo/video professionals or basic editing tools
Experience in or connection to healthcare, nonprofit, or service sectors is a plus
Understanding of SEO, email platforms, or paid media strategy is helpful
