Job Overview:
FOCUSPOINT is seeking an experienced Data Scientists for our client base.

Our client partners are seeking intellectually curious and technically robust Data Scientists who thrive on turning raw data into meaningful insights. As part of a growing analytics initiative, you'll work cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making in high-impact environments-from consumer behavior modeling to operational forecasting.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business challenges and translate them into modeling objectives
• Design and deploy machine learning algorithms and statistical models using tools such as Python, R, or SAS
• Clean, transform, and manage large data sets from structured and unstructured sources
• Communicate model performance, assumptions, and limitations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Develop dashboards and visualizations with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
• Validate models and track their predictive accuracy in production environments

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience building predictive models and deploying them in real-world settings
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn), SQL, and data visualization platforms
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort interfacing with clients or internal teams
