About the Role  

As the  Director, People & Culture , you will be a key driver in developing and executing talent and culture strategies that create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. You will lead the development of programs that support leadership training, performance assessment, and succession planning—all aligned with our business goals and organizational values. Reporting to the Vice President of People & Culture, Chief Executive Officer, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring our employees feel valued, engaged, and empowered to thrive. 

Key Responsibilities  

People & Culture Strategy  

  • Develop and implement a strategic HR plan that aligns with business goals and promotes accountability, transparency, and collaboration. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing innovative solutions that enhance business performance and employee experience. 
  • Lead the design and execution of succession planning, talent management, and leadership transitions to align with organizational strategy and culture. 
  • Build and optimize an HR team that fosters continuous learning and growth across the organization. 
  • Drive initiatives in talent acquisition, learning & development, change management, and organizational design. 
  • Establish a people strategy that cultivates a high-performing, growth-focused workforce. 

Workplace Culture & Talent Development  

  • Champion an inclusive, respectful, and engaging workplace culture where employees feel valued and recognized. 
  • Lead initiatives that enhance a positive employee experience and promote ownership, innovation, and collaboration. 
  • Design and implement strategies for attracting, retaining, and integrating diverse talent across the organization. 
  • Drive career development programs, compensation & benefits strategies, and employee well-being initiatives. 

Organizational Effectiveness  

  • Assess and enhance the HR team's structure and capabilities to support a growing and progressive organization. 
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal regulations while fostering fairness and equity. 
  • Develop and oversee competitive compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent. 
  • Implement metrics and analytics to assess and improve HR operational effectiveness.

  • Proven expertise in talent management, organizational development, and succession planning. 
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and partner with executives and frontline leaders. 
  • Deep understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives, with experience implementing programs that drive meaningful impact. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and change management strategies. 
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to analyze and interpret HR metrics and trends. 
  • Ability to lead through change and drive cultural transformation in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • High emotional intelligence and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex people-related challenges. 
  • Nice to have:  Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
