Title: Java Developer (AWS)
Location: Horsham, PA
Duration: 6 - 18+ Months Contract with Extensions
Rate: $Open (Best Possible)
Job Description:
Years of Experience: 3-5 years of hands on Java AWS Development
Required Skills Set: CI/CD: Cloudformation, Codebuild, CodeDeploy etc
Extensive experience with event-based architecture constructs and languages including Java Development and REST
Hands-on expertise with architecture and engineering for cloud-native serverless development on AWS
Strong knowledge with practical experience applying techniques to adhere to the AWS Well-Architected Framework
Extensive experience with with following AWS service groupings:
Compute: ECS Fargate Lambda (Pure Serverless Compute) and ECS Fargate (Serverless Containers)
Integration Gateway: API Gateway (REST) and
Database and Storage: DynamoDB (NoSql), Aurora (Relational) and S3 (Object)
Events and Messaging: Event Bridge Kinesis Data Streams, Kinesis Firehouse, SQS and SNS an
Additional Preferred Skills:
Strong familiarity with the following AWS Service groupings:
Identity & Security: IAM, KMS, Okta and/or Antiphony
Observability, Logging, Monitoring: CloudTrail, CloudWatch and Xray
Proven capability to not only apply best practice with the above to their own development effort, but also to guide/advise to other less experienced team members
Must exude excellent communication skills, especially verbal; must be comfortable speaking their mind and working with others
