Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM

Overtime: Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 11:30 PM through the end of the year, reverting to the regular schedule in 2026

Pay: $37.50 per hour (includes shift differential)

Job Summary:
We are hiring a Senior Logistics Specialist with expertise in shipping, transportation, inventory management, and supply chain operations . This role is ideal for experienced logistics professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make an impact in medical device manufacturing . You will manage shipping operations, optimize transportation processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support warehouse logistics and tooling tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end shipping operations, including bills of lading, packing slips, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to schedule pickups, arrange transportation, and guarantee on-time deliveries
• Monitor and resolve shipping delays, damages, and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations , customs, and hazardous materials requirements
• Track and maintain accurate shipping records, costs, and inventory; assist with cycle counts and audits
• Oversee custom crating, packaging, and safe handling of materials
• Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Train and mentor logistics staff and new hires
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to improve workflow and reduce costs
• Support warehouse logistics, tooling tracking, and supply chain process improvements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations , preferably in medical device manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems
• Forklift experience required
• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations and trade compliance
• DOT and IATA certifications preferred
• Experience handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
