Bankruptcy Paralegal – Wilmington, DE (Onsite/Hybrid)

Soni's Client, a leading law firm in Delaware, is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join its collaborative and high-performing legal team. This full-time role is primarily onsite in Wilmington Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays after training. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, team-oriented professional with strong court filing experience and a proactive attitude.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys with all aspects of bankruptcy case management and filings
• Prepare, draft, e-file, and serve legal documents using CM/ECF (PACER)
• Maintain case calendars and deadlines; assist with hearing preparation
• Communicate effectively with co-counsel, clients, and creditors
• Monitor ongoing cases and collaborate closely with the paralegal team
• Work overtime as needed (approx. 5 hours/week); some remote weekend work possible

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal
• Proficient in PACER and CM/ECF filing systems (Bankruptcy, District, and Appellate Courts)
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe (Standard or Pro)
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
• Positive, team-focused mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 annually depending on experience

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
