Position Summary:

The Exercise Physiologist will evaluate and enhance the physical health and fitness of employees and patients, with a special emphasis on public safety officers and individuals with chronic conditions. This role involves conducting fitness assessments, designing personalized exercise programs, and collaborating with healthcare providers to promote wellness and recovery.

Schedule; Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fitness tests and evaluate overall fitness, including but not limited to Public Safety officers to meet established standards.
• Develop and monitor exercise plans for medical and occupational therapy patients.
• Provide health education and exercise instruction tailored to individual needs.
• Design job-specific assessments and wellness incentives.
• Track and fine-tune exercise programs based on patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize exercise interventions for chronic conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACSM).
• Proficiency in conducting fitness assessments and interpreting data.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, exercise prescription, and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in occupational or corporate wellness programs.
• Familiarity with chronic disease management through exercise.
