Car Rental Agent Toyota Rent a Car is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Part-time Car Rental Agent. As a Car Rental Agent, the selected candidate will have a vital role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth experience for clients. Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Warmly greet customers and assist them in selecting the most suitable vehicle for their needs, whether in person or online.
• Provide comprehensive information about rental policies, rates, and available options to help customers make informed decisions.
• Accurately complete rental agreements and efficiently collect all necessary documents.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions following company procedures.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages or issues.
• Ensure rental cars are appropriately cleaned and organized after each use.
• Coordinate vehicle reservations to ensure availability and proper allocation of vehicles.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and clean rental office environment.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including vehicle features and local attractions.
• Work closely with other agents and the rental manager on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with body shops, hotels, and insurance companies as part of daily job duties.
• Clean the exterior and interior of vehicles during peak times.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by managers.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain an exceptional driving record
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish
• Availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends
• Ability to work Part-time position, working 24 hours/week
• Willingness to carry out additional duties and responsibilities as directed by management to meet operational needs
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles
• Exhibit effective verbal communication skills when interacting with customers, colleagues, and management
• Minimum age of 18 years required due to insurance requirements
