**Senior Agile/Scrum Master (Remote)** **Location: Hartford, Connecticut (Remote - EST)** **Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)** **Roles and Responsibilities.** + Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. + Oversee the implementation of agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Scrum principles. + Provide guidance and support to the development team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. + Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams. + Identify and remove impediments that hinder the teams progress. + Ensure the team is focused on delivering value to the customer and meeting project goals. + Monitor and report on team performance and progress to stakeholders. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. + Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog. + Coach team members on agile best practices and principles. + Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives and customer needs. + Drive the adoption of agile tools and practices to enhance team productivity **Required Qualifications.** + We are seeking a Scrum Master with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. + The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Scrum Master + Have excellent communication and facilitation skills. + Exhibit strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities + Have experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs **Other Compensation:** Applications will be accepted until 08/02/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $64,025 - $94,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
