Sodexo is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support outgoing logistics at our Rahway, NJ location. This role is responsible for coordinating the shipment of chemicals, biologicals, research samples, and equipment—both hazardous and non-hazardous—across domestic and international destinations. The position will manage outbound shipments and includes handling temperature-sensitive materials and preparing all necessary documentation for our client and carrier partners. The ideal candidate will have experience with regulated shipping procedures, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include packing, processing, labeling, and ensuring compliance with all relevant shipping standards.

Support with cycle counts, inventory movement, discard processing, and maintain accurate records in client software systems.
Review safety data sheets, classify materials per DOT/IATA regulations, and ensure compliance with global trade and regulatory requirements.
Package cold chain shipments, manage GMP freezers, and use temperature monitoring systems to track excursions during transit.
Create commercial invoices, troubleshoot system issues, and assist with metrics/KPI tracking and reporting.
Provide responsive support to clients, develop strong internal/external relationships, and contribute to issue resolution with professionalism and teamwork.
