The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It's Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Schedule:** Days, 4x10hr **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Transplant Coordinator coordinates the care of patients who are undergoing solid organ transplant on an inpatient and outpatient basis. On call for patient issues and donor coordination as scheduled. Functions as a resource for patients and staff about the transplantation process. Maintains communication with referring physician's pre and post-transplant. Is an active member of the multidisciplinary Transplant Team. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** 2+ years inpatient or outpatient pediatric experience required. Solid organ Transplant experience preferred. Transplant experience (inpatient or outpatient) preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills required. **Education/Licensure/Certification:** Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Current CA RN license, American Heart Association BLS and PALS required. **Pay Scale Information** $116,189.00-$190,882.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
