Position Title: HR Assistant
Reports To: Payroll Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:  
The HR Assistant is a professional who is responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. They assist with record maintenance for payroll processing as well as provide clerical support to all employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

• Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
• Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
• Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
• Ensure compliance with the company policies regarding the HR vendors are paid on time by executing the purchasing process in SAP
• Assisting with daily payroll maintenance/updates
• Assist with year-end payroll activities
• Assists in administrative problem solving, program/project planning, development, an execution of stated goals and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

• Preference may be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree
• Preference may be given to candidates with SAP experience
• Preference may be given to candidates who speak multiple languages, including Spanish
• Ability to work well in a fast pace environment
• Must have a least  3 years of related work experience
• Must be well organized and thorough with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform data entry with speed and accuracy
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the company
